The Valex Conglomerate's 'Cynosure' class frigates are an experimental drone frigate and command platform capable of housing and deploying dozens of drones into an engagement in short order. Built around a prototype command module and an advanced drone maintenance system augmented by an advanced electronics and sensor package, the Cynosure is claimed to be one of the most expensive frigates ever designed and built to date. Its primary armament are several wings of the Lazarus assault class drones which are supported by over a dozen NX Type 4 PD drones providing an effective cloud of cover and engagement within its combat vicinity. Using its onboard electronics warfare AI, the cynosure is also capable of hacking into nearby ships to disable their subsystems or reroute their torpedoes with ease.
