Originally designed to closely study spatial anomalies and complex stellar systems, the 'Sun Wukong' class ship was easily adapted for command and control purposes when the Vega Conflict erupted. While House Sato was not officially part of the conflict, they supplied combat ships and support to both sides of the conflict, greatly benefiting and profiting off their designs. Leveraging an extremely powerful suite of sensors, signal projectors, electronic sub systems and a specialized electronics warfare AI, the 'Sun Wukong' class frigate can easily hack into and manipulate enemy subsystems and fortify ally electronics while leaning on its modest armor and shields to stay in the fight for as long as possible. The militarized version of the vessel comes standard with a pair of Kn3 'Katana' phased light cannons and the powerful Lightwave AX PPS point defense arrays, further bolstering its staying power in prolonged engagements.
