Theorized to be some of the first ships designed and fielded by the rogue ArcNet AI, the 'Katulu' as it has been called by other races, is a terrifying weapon of war that boasts technologies and capabilities not seen in the galaxy previously. The Katulu lives up to its name by employing a unique gravity well generator capable of disrupting the movements of everything in its immediate vicinity, an advanced design quantum field generator and an incredibly formidable electronic warfare system which the rogue AI network deploys specialized AI algorithms to interfere with nearby ships. Generally the Katulu class ships seem to rely far more on their advanced shield systems than armor and tend to be faster as a result. The ship comes equipped with an unknown weapon system some refer to as the 'Tendrils of Dismay' that create a directed, winding plasma beam at its targets which is often used in tandem with another advanced quantum weapon called the 'Voidripper' to that generates wildly chaotic and localized fluxes in space-time anywhere near the ship.
