AG-3 was the designation for a specialized assault flotilla commissioned by Terran admirals in the Vega Conflict. Composed of a few dozen highly trained pilots and an upgraded version of the Odin Industries 'Gungnir' class corvette hulls, the unit was designed for shock operations in the outer rim. As a jump capable assault corvette with extended support modules, the Gungnir was employed by admirals and fleet commanders with great effect, often acting as an effective interdictor force used against the Imperium's supply convoys. Much like most Odin Industries designs, the Gungnir is relatively simple but highly effective and extremely robust. The Gungnir's reinforced armor, hardened internal design, and automated support systems helped ensure it can fully leverage the strength of its twin RX-R 80mm rotary batteries and the experimental Havoc cluster missile arrays to their maximum effect.
