The Singularity class carriers were, for a long time, the de facto force projection ship in the Vega Sector. Capable of housing dozens of strike craft wings and sporting heavy armor, the Singularity class ship was terribly hard to overpower. The ship includes a full support deck and drones in addition to an aircraft command center and reserve aircraft bays, allowing the Singularity to remain effective in protracted conflicts. While the singularity typically relies on its attack craft and escorts, it also has two highly effective lightstorm phaser batteries for point defense support, should it become necessary.
