They Hydra destroyer is a similar design to it's smaller cousin the Vespa and boasts many of the same capabilities, only enhanced. Designed as a long range heavy fire support destroyer, the Hydra can lay down devastating swaths of fire from its gauss cannon batteries while dominating the battlefield with 2 full wings of the UHI-53b 'Venom' assault craft. The ship saw limited production before the absorption of the Ferox Subsidiary after the Vega Conflict began, but it still remains highly sought after by all manner of fleet commanders.
