Looked to for its exemplary siege and heavy ordinance capabilities the S307 M.6 'Ballista' is a go to for many commanders. The Ballista boasts a large complement of the Cataclysm Mk 2 Torpedoes across 4 separate launching systems allowing it to deploy a terrifying amount of ordinance in short order. The Ballista is accredited with the destruction of the Kathkika Imperium's Star Fortress at Gilliax Beta where a small supported fleet overwhelmed the fortress defenses with a virtual cloud of torpedoes. While the ship comes equipped with a pair of Lightwave AX point defense systems, it is relatively slow and cumbersome so it is advised to deploy the ballista with other support ships for maximum effect.
